Diaries of a Kafue district official

One great thing about sharing an interest online is the people one gets to hear from. Recently I heard from Alasdair Sutter, who has a rare thing in his possession - diaries belonging to an early official in the colonial days of Northern Rhodesia, Alexander Collie Anderson, who was posted to the Mumbwa and Kafue areas from 1902-1908. Based on my Kerswell book we believe Alexander Anderson must have died before 1913.

Kudos to Alasdair for mounting a great effort to make these materials available to more people, which involves a lot of hand transcribing and scanning. You can have a look at his progress here:

We have found some records to the author online at the National Archives, and elsewhere. Any help in locating his campsite would be welcomed!
